B.sc - Electronics  and Communication Systems

Electronic and Communication Systems is an introductory course in communication electronics for students with a background in basic electronics. The program provides students with the current, state-of-the-art electronics techniques used in all modern forms of electronic communications, including radio, television, telephones, cell phones, satellites, LAN systems, digital transmission, and microwave communications.

The electronics and communication systems deals with devices that use extremely small amounts of power such as micro processors, fiber optics etc.  Microwave engineers use electromagnetic energy in forms such as radio waves or light to produce radar, communications, and fiber optics systems. Communications and signal processing involves the transmission and processing of information such as in CD players and high definition TV.

The B.Sc syllabus starts from the fundamentals of Electronics to the designing of Electronic circuits using Microcontrollers and offers specialization in Communication Systems like Microwave, Fiber Optics, Digital, Cellular, Satellite and Network Communications. The course also offers Diploma in Computer Technology which includes programming in C, C++, VP, Java, Internet and Computer Architecture. The Department also offers Certificate Courses based on the industrial needs.

• The Department of Electronics offers both B.Sc Electronics and Communication Systems and  M.Sc Electronics and Communication Systems

• There are separate labs for UG Students as well as  PG Students.
• We have well equipped and sophisticated equipments in the Lab like  Mixed Storage Oscilloscope, Microprocessor, Microcontroller kits, Digital Trainer kits etc
• We also have latest equipments like Microwave Trainer Kits, Optical Fiber Communication Trainer kits etc.
• Separate labs like embedded lab and VLSI Lab are available for the beneficence of PG Students.
• To know the Recent trends and developments in the Electronics field our college  library has more number electronics books and also latest Electronics Journals and Magazines
• Our department has qualified and Experienced staff members to groom up the Students in a very good manner
• National Level Seminars  and Guest Lectures were frequently arranged in the departments to know the innovations in the field of Electronics
