An M.Phil in Tourism Management and is a Graduate in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Mr. Ajeet Kumar Lal Mohan has contributed significantly to elevating the standard of Catering Science Education both within the city and all over India. His decade long experience in heading the Hotel Management & Catering Science in the position of Director and Head brought him nationwide recognition for his services and also allowed him to establish long term relationships with leading corporate houses. He has to his credit numerous achievements including conducting innumerable Seminars, Workshops, Carnivals at the state and regional levels.

He is also a leading Hotel and Catering Consultant and has completed more than 100 projects in various areas like Industrial, hospital,Institutional and hotel Kitchens.

As member of the Board of Studies, Bharathiar University, Vice President,Hospitality Educaters & Recruiters Association, Executive Committee Member, South India Culinary Association, and Conservation of Nature Trust, he has instant access to the evolving world of academics and industry.

He has completed his M.Sc., and Ph.D., and a certificate holder in Marine Science, Duke University, USA. He is a retired Principal Scientist from ICAR, Govt. of India and has travelled widely to over 65 countries in the capacity of advisor and participant in Conferences and Symposiums. He is a member of IUCN (Cetacean specialist group), Gland, Switzerland and the Convener, INTACH Nagercoil Chapter. He was authored 4 books in environment field and published more than 150 scientific papers.
